Antennas

An antenna is a device made of conductive metal (metal that conducts electricity) that sends and/or receives electromagnetic radio waves. Electromagnetic radio waves are waves of light within a specific frequency (3 kHz [kilohertz] to 300 GHz [Gigahertz]) that are invisible to the human eye, and are utilized for long distance communication. These waves are intercepted by your antenna, which allows the radio or TV to properly ''displays'' the sound or video within the wave.

Antennas have many different uses, from Radio, Television and WiFi. They all work in fundamentally the same way: a transmitter sends a signal, which is intercepted by an Antenna connected to a tuned radio receiver.

This concept of radio transmission and reception stands true in all applications of antennas from cell phones to space communication. However, the design of the antenna usually varies according to its purpose. We sell a variety of different antennas for OTA (Over-The-Air) TV, WiFi and AM/FM Radios.
